In this tribute to the Master B. K. Campbell draws from the well of his original
inspiration the “Moonlight Sonata”. The first movement is a tender Adagio modeled
after the mood and tempo of the “Moonlight Sonata” while the second movement is
modeled after Beethoven’s legendary and haunting “Hammerklavier Adagio”.
Overall the work projects a mood of ‘beautiful simplicity’ and ‘deeply felt sorrow’.
